This is a great crystal to use with essential oils. 

This is great for a small space like your bedroom. Buy a few to put next to your bedside table. When you are feeling down, saturate each stone with an essential oil as suggested below to help you manage your feelings.

Place a few drops directly onto the stone and it will naturally diffuse your oils.

Lavender : To help to calm and relax - Very good for anxiety and can also help encourage sleep quality for teenagers (very effective).  It is also great for relieving the nervous tension that can build up when preparing for something challenging.

Vetiver: to help to increase attention levels - beneficial for learning and memory and very effective for ADHD, and to help focus on exams. It is also good as a wind down after revising and great for a good sleep.

Peppermint:  This unmistakable and familiar aroma is a powerful energizer and great for attention. When you feel the mental “fog” begin to settle, let the fresh and clean scent of peppermint focus your senses and keep you motivated.

Rosemary:  If you’re having trouble getting information to stick into your head, consider Rosemary. Research from Northumbria University has found that simply being in a room diffused with the smell of Rosemary boosted memory test scores by 15%.  Further studies have shown that Rosemary significantly reduces test anxiety, which was demonstrated through a series of improved test scores. So, basically, it is simply amazing for memory, mood, and cognition.

Ylang-Ylang

This sweet- and floral-smelling is good as a concentration aid, as there's a scientific link between topical use of ylang-ylang essential oil and the relaxed state conducive to optimal focus.

Sandalwood

Native to Oceanic Southeast Asia, the sandalwood tree is the source of the essential oil with the same name.  Sandalwood is associated with an ability to promote mental clarity. In a 2003 study, a correlation was found between the transdermal application of sandalwood EO and increased attentiveness in human subjects.

Neroli 

Neroli sedates all the organs and metabolic functions of the body, including those in your head. It gives relief from anxiety, distress, anger, depression, inflammations, and other irritations. In other words, it relaxes both the body and soul.
